About Freddie's

Freddie's is decorated as an old fashioned popcorn shop and has a warm friendly atmosphere that beckons people to come in and experience the nostalgia of historic old Dubuque.

Freddie's uses Iowa based Asoya-brand soy oil with no trans fats or hydrogenated oils, making an already healthy snack even healthier.
Five Gross Boys Fight for Their Country
The popcorn flavors are named in honor of Freddie's dad Willie and his four uncles who all served together in WWII. Their photos are displayed on the wall next to the counter and Fred is very proud of his family and their service to our country. Fred's dad was in the restaurant business before the war, so about 65 years later, Fred is continuing the family tradition.
Freddie's can make large orders for parties or fundraisers. Just give us a call.
Freddie's Popcorn is open Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday,
